What Are My Chances Of Being Disabled Or Unable To Work?
Dec 03, 2024Many of us tend to think of becoming disabled as something that happens to other people, particularly those with physically demanding jobs. Whilst being a locum is physically demanding, owing to the long distance trips and standing or walking anywhere between 6-12 hours a day, apparently only about 10% of all disabling injuries happen on the job.
If you're young and fit, you might believe your chances of being disabled are less than an older persons, but stats show that isn't the case, not to mention, you have more years during which you might become disabled.
